Role Description The Senior Analyst – Trade Settlement is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves overseeing end-to-end trade settlement processes, including validation of trade details, reconciliation of positions and cash, and coordination with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies. The Senior Analyst will monitor settlement timelines, investigate and reduce fails, and ensure accurate and timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables. This position includes preparing and reviewing reports, maintaining process documentation, and supporting process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and client requirements. The Senior Analyst will also help mentor junior team members, collaborate with stakeholders, and adhere to Infosys BPM’s quality, control, and risk management standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong trade settlement and post-trade operations skills, including trade validation, reconciliations, and exception management.
- Candidates should possess skills in cash and position reconciliation, investigation of breaks, and resolution of settlement issues with counterparties and custodians.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant tools or systems used in capital markets, investment banking, or securities operations.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Relevant experience in trade settlement, securities operations, or investment banking back-office processes is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in capital markets or securities operations are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work accurately under time constraints, maintain attention to detail, and follow defined controls and compliance standards.
