We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Specialist for an on-site role in Saudi Arabia. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
•A master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred for their in-depth coverage of theoretical and practical aspects of software architecture and AI.
•A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in AI & machine learning with demonstrated responsibility for designing and delivering production AI systems.
•A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
•Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles.
•Demonstrated experience working with audio, acoustic, or vibration time series data.
•Strong understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) concepts, including but not limited to filtering, windowing, spectral analysis, denoising, Fourier transforms, and time-frequency representations.
•Experience working with audio preprocessing techniques (STFT, spectrograms, mel transforms) and time-series signal representations.
•Expertise in audio-based machine learning, including but not limited to experience with large acoustic models and other models such as anomaly detection, classification or others.
•Experience with predictive maintenance or equipment diagnostics is preferred.
•Familiarity with acoustic or vibration sensor behavior, signal quality issues, and environmental noise challenges is preferred.
•Extensive experience in software architecture design, with a strong foundation in architectural patterns, microservices, and distributed systems.
•Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js) and the ability to make informed decisions about selecting the right technology stack.
•Strong leadership qualities and the ability to guide and mentor engineering teams towards achieving architectural goals.
•Openness to exploring new technologies and architectural patterns that could enhance the product’s capabilities or efficiency.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to achieve project goals.
•Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for managing codebases and documentation.
•Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•Agile methodology experience is preferred.
