Role Description The Senior AI/ML Engineer will design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI solutions that enhance Sykatiya’s VLSI and low-power optimization offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and prototyping models, implementing and optimizing algorithms, building data pipelines, and integrating ML components into production systems. The role involves collaborating with VLSI, design verification, and physical design teams to translate domain requirements into robust AI/ML solutions, as well as reviewing code, mentoring engineers, and contributing to architectural decisions. The engineer will also evaluate new tools and frameworks, conduct experiments, and document methodologies and results for internal and customer stakeholders. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru South, with flexibility for partial work from home.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in computer science and algorithms for designing efficient, scalable AI/ML systems.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of statistics and pattern recognition for building robust, data-driven models.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with neural networks and modern machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Candidates should possess proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (such as Python, C++ or Java) and software engineering best practices.
- Relevant experience in applying AI/ML to semiconductor, EDA, or related engineering domains is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical/electronics engineering, data science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and effective written and verbal communication are required.
- Experience in deploying ML models to production, working with large-scale data, and optimizing performance and resource usage is an advantage.
