Role Description The Senior AI/ML Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-driven features within Pyngyn’s core platform. This role involves developing and optimizing machine learning models, with a strong emphasis on NLP and neural network architectures, to power intelligent task automation, recommendation systems, and knowledge management capabilities. Day-to-day work includes end-to-end model development (data exploration, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and monitoring), integration of models into production-grade services, and close collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to translate user needs into robust AI solutions. The Senior AI/ML Developer will also maintain and improve existing ML pipelines, ensure scalability and reliability of AI components, and contribute to technical strategy, code reviews, and best practices across the team. This role suits individuals who enjoy working autonomously in a remote environment while mentoring teammates and shaping the technical direction of an AI-native product.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, system design, and writing production-quality code.
- Expertise in Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, with experience architecting, training, and optimizing deep learning models for real-world applications.
- Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), including modern transformer-based architectures and applied NLP for search, summarization, and classification.
- Proficiency with common AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, MLops tooling, data processing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and modern deployment stacks such as containerization and cloud services).
- Experience building and maintaining scalable ML services in production, including monitoring, performance tuning, and iterative improvement based on user feedback and metrics.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team and mentor other developers.
