AI CoE Manager – Computer Vision & Applied AI (Onsite – Mumbai)
Location: Mumbai, India (Onsite)
Experience: 8–15 Years (Minimum 3–5 years in leadership role)

Role Overview
We are hiring an experienced AI CoE Manager to lead and scale a Computer Vision–focused Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence.
The role is focused on building and delivering production-grade AI systems for industrial vision inspection in manufacturing environments, with strong emphasis on real-time performance, accuracy, and edge deployment.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep expertise in Computer Vision, OpenCV, C++, and applied deep learning.
Key Responsibilities
AI & Computer Vision Leadership
- Lead end-to-end design and development of vision inspection systems (detection, segmentation, classification, OCR, anomaly detection)
- Architect and implement real-time computer vision pipelines using classical CV and deep learning
- Work with CNNs, U-Net, YOLO variants, Vision Transformers, and hybrid AI models
- Own full AI lifecycle including data strategy, model training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining
- Optimize models for edge deployment using CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX, quantization, pruning, and distillation
MLOps & Engineering
- Build scalable production AI pipelines with CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, and rollback mechanisms
- Ensure high-performance real-time processing using C++ and OpenCV
- Implement multi-threaded, optimized, low-latency vision systems
- Define software engineering standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices
Industrial Imaging Systems
- Design and integrate industrial imaging setups (cameras, optics, lighting, calibration)
- Work with high-speed inspection systems in manufacturing environments
- Collaborate with hardware, automation, and mechanical teams
- Support system validation in production environments (FAT/SAT)
Leadership & Delivery
- Build and mentor AI/ML engineering teams
- Drive agile execution and delivery governance
- Translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions
- Ensure production readiness and field deployment success
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in C++ (C++11/14/17) and OpenCV
- Hands-on experience in Computer Vision (segmentation, detection, OCR, anomaly detection)
- Deep learning experience using PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Strong understanding of image processing, geometry, linear algebra, and optimization
- Experience in real-time systems and performance tuning
- Knowledge of edge AI tools (CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX, OpenVINO)
- Python for prototyping and model development
- Experience integrating APIs (REST / gRPC)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, pharma, packaging, automotive, or industrial automation domains
- Exposure to high-speed inspection or defect detection systems
- Experience with 2D/3D vision systems or robotics vision applications
- Production deployment of AI/vision systems in real-world environments
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- AI/ML or Computer Vision certifications preferred
