About the Role:
At Sphurix Consulting Pvt. Ltd., we are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade artificial intelligence solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
You will work on enterprise AI initiatives for global clients, developing intelligent systems such as AI assistants, RAG pipelines, multi-agent platforms, and AI-powered enterprise applications. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building end-to-end AI systems—from data pipelines and model orchestration to scalable APIs and modern web interfaces.
This is a remote role with 3–4 hours overlap with US business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build end-to-end AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs)
Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and enterprise knowledge retrieval systems
Build agentic AI systems and intelligent assistants for enterprise workflows
Develop AI-powered chat interfaces and modern web applications
Build scalable backend APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Starlette
Design and maintain enterprise data pipelines and AI-ready data workflows
Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms and internal APIs
Deploy and manage cloud-native AI solutions on Azure
Implement monitoring, observability, and performance optimization for AI systems
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong expertise in Python for AI and backend development
Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and NLP systems
Experience building RAG architectures and AI agent frameworks
Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel
Knowledge of vector databases such as Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS
Experience building APIs using FastAPI, Starlette, or similar frameworks
Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and data pipelines
Experience deploying scalable AI systems on Azure cloud
Strong analytical, architectural, and problem-solving skills
Fluent English communication skills
Preferred Experience:
Experience building 8+ production AI applications end-to-end
Familiarity with Microsoft AI ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, Foundry, AI Services)
Exposure to Google Vertex AI, Amazon Bedrock, or OpenAI APIs
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of MCP servers, AI integrations, or enterprise AI platforms
Experience building modern applications using JavaScript or TypeScript
