We are looking for a Senior AI Backend Engineer to build and scale the core infrastructure powering next-generation AI products. This is a high-impact role where you will work at the intersection of backend engineering, machine learning systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services for AI-driven applications
- Build and maintain APIs for model inference (LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, Recommendation Systems)
- Deploy and manage ML models in production environments
- Develop data pipelines for training, evaluation, and real-time inference
- Optimize systems for low-latency and high-throughput workloads
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for AI services
- Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize models
- Work with DevOps teams on cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–8 years of backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or Node.js / Go
- Experience building RESTful APIs / GraphQL services
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow / PyTorch
- Experience deploying ML models into production
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Strong understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases
- Experience with Docker & containerization
- Solid knowledge of distributed systems & microservices architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LLM integration & prompt engineering
- Familiarity with model serving tools (FastAPI, TorchServe, Triton)
- Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS)
- Experience with streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
- Exposure to Kubernetes
- Understanding of MLOps practices and tools
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment
