Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a clear understanding of program offerings and outcomes. Day-to-day activities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing candidates’ career goals, recommending appropriate courses, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and follow-ups. The role involves managing leads, coordinating with internal teams to align learning solutions with client needs, and achieving enrollment and conversion targets. The Senior Admissions Counselor will also handle queries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, provide ongoing support to enrolled learners, and contribute to process improvements and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse working professionals.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented support throughout the counseling and admission process.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, build relationships, and convert inquiries into successful enrollments in alignment with organizational goals.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding, including familiarity with professional courses, skill-building programs, and career development pathways.
- Relevant experience in admissions counseling, career guidance, or education consulting, preferably working with adult learners or working professionals.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with proficiency in CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, with a focus on ethical and learner-centric counseling.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, psychology, business, or human resources is an advantage.
