Role Description
The Senior Admissions Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. Responsibilities include guiding prospective students through the admissions process, conducting consultations with applicants and their families, and promoting the institution's programs. Additional tasks involve evaluating applications, maintaining excellent communication with prospective students, and collaborating with the admissions team to meet enrollment objectives. The role also requires a focus on delivering high-quality customer service and effectively addressing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills for building relationships and guiding prospective students and families.
- Proficiency in customer service and the ability to professionally address inquiries or concerns.
- Skills in sales and persuasion to effectively advocate for the institution’s programs and drive enrollment growth.
- Understanding of the education sector, including knowledge of admissions processes and academic counseling practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment.
- Experience in admissions or related roles is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
