Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. This role involves guiding prospective students and working professionals through the complete admissions journey, from initial inquiry to final enrollment. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing academic and career goals, recommending suitable UG, PG, online, or distance programs, and explaining program features, eligibility, and outcomes. The Senior Admissions Counselor will manage a pipeline of leads, follow up through calls, emails, and in-person meetings, and support applicants with documentation, application forms, and deadlines. The role also includes collaborating with university partners, maintaining accurate records in CRM or similar systems, and providing feedback to improve counseling processes and student experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with diverse student profiles.
- Proven Customer Service and Sales skills, including experience in converting inquiries to enrollments while maintaining ethical and student-centric guidance.
- Background or strong interest in Education, career counseling, or academic advising, preferably in higher education or edtech.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida on a full-time schedule, managing multiple cases simultaneously with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a master’s degree or certification in counseling, education, or related fields is an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms for tracking leads and managing documentation.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, a consultative mindset, and a commitment to ethical, unbiased admissions guidance.
