Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar, responsible for guiding prospective learners through the end-to-end admissions process for FDE Academy’s programs. This role involves engaging with inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, understanding applicant goals, and clearly communicating program structure, outcomes, and expectations. The Senior Admissions Counselor will conduct admissions interviews, assess applicant fit, and provide timely follow-up to ensure a smooth and transparent admissions experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a pipeline of leads in the CRM, coordinating with marketing and academic teams, and supporting events such as info sessions and open houses. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of admissions messaging, processes, and applicant experience based on feedback and performance data.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse prospective learners, families, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated customer service experience, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and maintaining a professional, learner-centric approach.
- Proven sales or consultative selling skills, including lead nurturing, objection handling, and closing enrollments in an ethical and transparent manner.
- Background or strong interest in education, edtech, or admissions, with the ability to explain academic programs and learning outcomes clearly.
- Additional qualifications: bachelor’s degree in any discipline (education, business, or related fields preferred); experience in higher education or professional programs; proficiency with CRM tools and basic data tracking; ability to work on-site full time in Bhubaneswar; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
