We are currently seeking a Senior Ad Copywriter to join our dynamic remote team. The ideal candidate will thrive in the fast-paced iGaming sector and Sports Betting.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ad Copy & Creative Development
- Write high-converting ad copy for: Facebook/Instagram ads ,Google Ads (Search & Display) and Video ad scripts (short-form + UGC style)
- Create headlines, hooks, CTAs, slogans, and scripts
- Develop A/B testing variations for performance marketing
- Ensure all copy aligns with brand tone and compliance requirements
2. Creative Strategy & Idea Generation
- Develop ad concepts and campaign angles, not just copywriting
- Provide clear creative briefs to designers and video editors
- Suggest visual direction, storyboards, and hook strategies (first 3 seconds)
3. India Market
- Create content tailored for Indian market, with a focus on: Cricket (IPL, World Cup, T20, etc.) and Kabaddi, football, and other trending sports
- Adapt global campaigns into India-relevant messaging
4. User Behavior & Conversion Optimization
- Analyze CTR and CVR performance of ad copy
- Identify winning hooks and angles
- Optimize messaging based on user intent (casual vs. experienced bettors) and funnel stage (acquisition vs. retention)
5. Trend & Content Research
- Track cricket matches, trending teams, and star players
- Monitor social media trends, including memes, reels, and viral formats
- Generate real-time reactive creatives during IPL matches and major tournaments
6. Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Performance Marketing Team, Designers/Video Editors, and CRM/Retention Team
- Translate marketing goals into clear creative outputs
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in:
- Ad copywriting / performance marketing
- iGaming, fantasy sports, or sports media
- Strong knowledge of cricket and the Indian sports ecosystem
- Proven ability to write high-converting ad copy and create viral/engaging ad ideas
- Deep understanding of Facebook Ads and Google Ads formats
- Experience writing short-form video scripts and UGC-style ad content
- Knowledge of compliance and ad restrictions (Meta, Google) in the betting sector
- Experience working with influencers or affiliate creatives
- Data-driven thinking (not just "creative")
- Fluent in English
