Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, based in Navi Mumbai. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, processing payments, and preparing expense reports. The role includes maintaining accurate and timely journal entries, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards. The candidate would also assist in identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts payable functions and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools
- Ability to work independently with effective time management
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is a plus
- B.Com/M.Com graduate
- 3–4 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS & vendor reconciliations
- Good Excel and accounting software knowledge
- Experience in transport/logistics industry preferred
- Good communication and team handling skills
- Ability to manage vehicle-wise accounting records accurately
Responsibilities
- Handling end-to-end Accounts Payable process
- Vendor invoice verification, booking & reconciliation
- Managing payment schedules and vendor follow-ups
- Maintaining vehicle-wise expense records
- Monitoring fuel, repair, toll & maintenance expenses
- GST/TDS checking and accounting compliance
- Coordinating with operations and management teams
- Preparing MIS reports and payable summaries
- Working on ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel
