Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Accounts Manager to oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations for a high-volume distribution environment. The role involves managing inventory accounting, ERP-driven financial systems, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting in a fast-paced pharmaceutical distribution setup. This is a key role working closely with operations, logistics, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
Manage end-to-end accounting including GL, AP, AR, and monthly closing
Ensure accuracy in high-volume billing and reconciliations
Handle inventory accounting for large SKU-based distribution systems
Distribution & Logistics Finance
Oversee accounting for warehouse operations, logistics, and fleet expenses
Monitor distributor and CFA accounting processes
Ensure proper cost allocation across supply chain operations
ERP & System Management
Work extensively on ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle / Dynamics)
Drive process standardization and system-based accounting controls
Support automation of finance and reporting functions
Compliance & Audit
Ensure GST compliance, statutory filings, and audit readiness
Coordinate with internal and external auditors
Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards
MIS & Reporting
Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and variance analysis
Support management with financial insights and cost control measures
Assist in budgeting and cash flow monitoring
Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with operations, warehouse, and procurement teams
Support leadership in financial planning and decision-making
Required Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA (Preferred)
8–15 years of experience in accounting and finance
Strong exposure to pharma / FMCG / distribution / logistics industry
Hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle / Dynamics)
Strong knowledge of GST, audit, and inventory accounting
Experience handling high transaction volume environments
