As part of our operational strengthening, we are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager who can efficiently handle financial operations, compliance, and team management.
Position OverviewThe Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing reporting processes, and leading the accounts team. The candidate should have strong expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting along with hands-on experience in accounting tools.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring proper task allocation and performance monitoring.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, journal entries, and bookkeeping processes.
- Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Handle GST and TDS reconciliation and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Prepare, review, and present MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Review trial balances and assist in finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Ensure proper usage of accounting tools such as Tally, Wizapp, and Excel.
- Must have working knowledge of Wizapp and ability to manage accounting operations on the same.
- Coordinate and act as a point of contact for internal and external audits.
- Monitor financial processes and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Train and guide junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally, and Wizapp.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
Experience- Minimum 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Experience in retail industry or similar domain will be preferred.
