Role Description:
We are seeking a Senior Accounts Executive with 3–5 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST, TDS, bookkeeping, MIS reporting, and finalisation of accounts, with the ability to work independently and ensure compliance with statutory and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and responding to notices, if any.
- Manage TDS calculation, deduction, payment, return filing, and reconciliation.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review journal entries, provisions, accruals, and month-end closing activities.
- Assist in the finalisation of accounts and statutory audits.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and statutory authorities.
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
- Experience in finalisation of accounts and audit support.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime or any ERP system.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in NBFC, Financial Services is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in handling statutory compliance independently.
- Exposure to ERP implementation or process improvement initiatives is an added advantage.
