Job Description:-
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Senior Executive-Accounts located in CBD Belapur Navi Mumbai. The enior Executive is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team of accountants or finance staff.
Key Responsibilities:-
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
-Accounts payable/receivable
-General ledger
-Bank reconciliations
-Tax reporting
-Payroll
· Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
· Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
· Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
· Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations
· Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
· Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
· Meet financial accounting objectives and deadlines
· Generate MIS reports for management.
· Track company expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
· Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
· Supervise and guide accounting staff.
· Provide training and improve team efficiency.
· Assign tasks, review work, and ensure accuracy.
Requirements:-

· Leadership abilities and experience managing a team
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
· Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
· Previous experience in account management or a related role
· Experience in [Transport and Logistics Industry]
· 8-12 years of experience in account and finance.
