Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant to support financial planning, reporting, and compliance functions. The role involves end-to-end accounting, financial analysis, and driving efficiency through strong internal controls and data-driven insights. Company Profile: Sturlite is a Bangalore-based electrical products company, founded in 2009 with a vision to deliver best-in-class solutions. It is among the fastest-growing players in the category, with a strong presence in lighting (bulbs, LEDs, interior and exterior lighting) and wiring.
The company is expanding into switches and MCBs, with plans to enter small electrical appliances such as fans, geysers, and kitchen appliances. With consistent 2X annual growth and a strong foothold in South and West India, Sturlite is now focused on achieving a pan-India presence and aims to be a leading player in the industry within the next three years.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse financial performance of the business unit on a regular basis
Prepare monthly MIS reports and highlight key variances between actuals vs. budgets/forecasts and provide meaningful decision making
Track costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization
Assist in pricing decisions and profitability analysis of products/projects
Identify and implement internal control to enhance efficiency
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure proper documentation of transactions
Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, and other statutory requirements
Manage end to end accounting and business operations
Qualifications & Skills
Semi-qualified CA (CA Inter cleared)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Knowledge of GST and statutory compliance
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems)
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience
45 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles
