Role Description The Senior Accounts Executive role is a full-time, on-site client position based in Mumbai. The Senior Accounts Executive will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing and reviewing GST returns, TDS computations, income tax workings, and supporting documentation for audits and compliance filings. The Senior Accounts Executive will assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards, and will coordinate with team members and clients to resolve accounting and tax-related queries. The role also includes supporting statutory, tax, and internal audit assignments, ensuring adherence to regulatory timelines, and contributing to process improvements within the finance and compliance functions.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in GST, TDS, and income tax compliance, including return filing, basic tax planning support, and documentation for audits.
- Experience with statutory, tax, and internal audit support, as well as ROC and other regulatory compliance processes.
- Ability to prepare and analyze MIS reports, financial summaries, and management dashboards for decision-making.
- Comfort with Tally Prime software and MS Excel; experience with Tally Prime is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (CA Inter, CMA Inter, or similar) are preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
