Role Description The Senior Accounts Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Shaikpet, responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This position oversees general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and daily bookkeeping activities. The role includes preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring timely filing of statutory returns and compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations. The Senior Accounts Executive collaborates with internal departments and external auditors, monitors cash flow, and assists in cost and margin analysis related to food production operations. The role also involves improving accounting processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing management with regular financial reports and insights.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and end-to-end accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Experience with financial reporting, bank reconciliations, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
- Understanding of taxation and statutory compliance relevant to Indian businesses, including GST and TDS.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or food production industry finance functions is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are a plus.
