Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive – Banking & Treasury
Location: Navi Mumbai
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Finance Manager / Assistant Finance Manager
Role Overview
The Senior Accounts Executive – Banking & Treasury will be responsible for managing day-to-day banking operations, cash flow planning, treasury functions, and supporting financial controls. The role requires strong coordination with banks, internal stakeholders, and auditors.
Key Responsibilities
Banking Operations
- Manage daily banking transactions, including payments, receipts, and fund transfers
- Handle bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Maintain relationships with banking partners and coordinate for documentation and compliance
- Monitor bank balances and ensure optimal fund utilization
Treasury Management
- Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts (short-term and long-term)
- Optimize working capital and liquidity management
- Execute fund planning, inter-account transfers, and investment tracking
- Monitor borrowing limits, interest costs, and repayment schedules
Payments & Compliance
- Ensure timely processing of vendor payments, payroll, statutory dues, and loan repayments
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies
- Coordinate with auditors for treasury-related queries and documentation
- Maintain proper records for all banking and treasury transactions
Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports related to cash flow, bank positions, and treasury performance
- Track and report variances in cash flow projections
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal departments for payment planning and approvals
- Work closely with finance team for budgeting and forecasting activities
Key Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
- B.com / M Com CA (Inter)/ CMA (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in banking, treasury, or finance functions
- Experience in corporate treasury or large organization preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of banking operations and treasury functions
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP, Tally etc.)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in handling multiple bank accounts and high transaction volumes
- Knowledge of working capital management and financial instruments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
