Job Overview
We are hiring a
Senior Accountant with strong working knowledge of
US GAAP, General Ledger, and Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with US counterparts through calls and emails.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements as per US GAAP
- Review of financial statements and audit schedules
- Preparation of daily/weekly delivery schedules for financials
- Vendor Master Management
- Troubleshooting accounting issues, escalations, and team queries
- Communicating with US counterparts/clients via email and calls
- Ensuring timely completion of assigned projects with quality output
- Supporting transition activities, onboarding, and new process setups
- Preparing and maintaining SOPs and process documentation
- Team coordination including work allocation, shift roster updates, timesheet review, and leave management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (MBA Finance is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GL accounting, and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online experience is a plus)
- Experience in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable processes
- Strong analytical skills with reporting capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index/Match)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
