Sanas is pioneering the future of human communication. Founded by a team of Stanford researchers and entrepreneurs with deep industry experience, Sanas has developed the world's first real-time speech AI platform capable of accent translation, noise cancellation, speech enhancement, cross-language communication, and more.
Sanas makes conversations clearer, more inclusive, and more effective, removing barriers that prevent people from being understood, regardless of accent, background noise, or native language.
Sanas is currently one of the fastest growing startups in Silicon Valley, growing from $16M to $50M ARR in 2025. The company's core business is profitable and is on track to end 2026 with >$77M ARR. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering with a design-minded product engineering culture to build and ship cutting-edge AI models and experiences — entirely in-house.
Sanas is a 130 person team, established in 2020. In this short span, we've successfully secured over $100 million in funding. Our innovation has been supported by the industry's leading investors, including Insight Partners, Google Ventures, Quadrille Capital, General Catalyst, Quiet Capital, and other influential investors. Our reputation is further solidified by collaborations with numerous Fortune 100 companies. With Sanas, you're not just adopting a product; you're investing in the future of communication.
If you’re looking to have a significant role in roadmapping and driving technical directions, if you’re looking to deploy challenging and big ideas without much overhead or slowness, if you're looking to leave your mark on an ambitious, generational mission to change how the worlds thinks about speech + AI, then Sanas is a well-suited place for you.
About The Role
Sanas is looking for a Senior Accountant to own a critical slice of our revenue and partner accounting operations. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, sales operations, and partner management covering revenue recognition, invoicing, partner commission calculations, reconciliations, payments, and contract review. You'll also own Deal desk operations, working directly with sales reps to process order forms and support deal execution.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, is comfortable owning ambiguous processes, and has strong systems fluency across modern finance tech stacks.
Must be able to work a schedule that overlaps significantly with U.S. business hours to ensure effective collaboration with U.S. based teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Desk Operations: Own Deal desk workflows processing and tracking order forms, coordinating with sales reps on deal paperwork, and ensuring clean handoff into billing and revenue systems.
- Sales Collaboration: Serve as the finance point of contact for sales reps on order form questions, deal structuring implications, and deal desk turnaround.
- Agreement & Contract Review: Review revenue contracts, order forms, and partner agreements for accurate accounting treatment and billing terms prior to booking.
- Partner Commission Calculations: Calculate and validate partner/channel commissions each period, ensuring alignment with signed agreements and deal terms.
- Revenue Accounting: Support monthly revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including review of customer contracts and revenue-impacting terms.
- Invoicing: Manage the end-to-end customer invoicing cycle generation, accuracy review, and timely delivery.
- Reconciliations: Perform monthly account and sub-ledger reconciliations (revenue, AR, commissions, deferred revenue) and resolve discrepancies.
- Audit Support: Prepare schedules and documentation, and respond to auditor requests related to revenue, commissions, and contracts for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with exposure to revenue accounting, billing, or commissions in a SaaS or subscription business.
- Strong working knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and contract review
- Solid systems skills; experience with Campfire, Salesforce (SFDC), and Maxio strongly preferred.
- Comfortable partnering directly with sales teams and working cross-functionally in a deal-desk capacity.
- High attention to detail with strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
- CPA preferred, not required.
