Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Bengaluru. The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage financial records, assist in preparing financial reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting for manufacturing processes, preparing tax returns, and performing monthly reconciliations. This role requires analyzing financial data, monitoring budgets, and providing financial insights to aid strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
- Experience in cost accounting and financial management specific to manufacturing processes
- In-depth understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, IT returns, and regulatory compliance standards
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA or CA is a strong plus
- Prior experience working in the manufacturing sector is highly preferred
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
