ExcelGens, Inc. is Hiring | Senior Accountant & Audit – US
📍 Dehradun / Gurgaon (On-site)
We are expanding our finance function and seeking an experienced Senior Accountant & Audit professional to support our US accounting operations from our India office.
This is a high-ownership, individual contributor role for someone with a strong foundation in US GAAP and a proven track record in cross-border accounting environments.
⏰ Working Hours: 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM IST | Monday to Friday

🎯 Experience Required: 10+ Years | US Accounting Background Essential
Key Responsibilities:
→ General ledger maintenance & reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
→ Month-end and year-end close — journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
→ Preparation of financial statements and management reports for the US Controller/CFO
→ Internal and external audit support — schedules, work papers, and internal controls
→ US tax coordination — 1099 reporting, sales/use tax, and federal/state filings
→ AP/AR management ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Ideal Candidate:
✔ 10+ years of hands-on accounting experience — this is non-negotiable
✔ Minimum 4 years directly supporting US-based accounting operations
✔ Solid understanding of US GAAP, SOX controls, and financial close processes
✔ Proficient in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms
✔ Advanced MS Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modelling
✔ Strong written and verbal communication for a US-facing environment
✔ B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) | CPA pursuit considered a plus
