Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will handle tasks including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closures. Responsibilities also include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, tax compliance, accounts reconciliation, and payroll processing. The role will involve leading financial audits, managing cash flows, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, and Financial Reporting
- Proficiency in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis
- Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance, including Corporate Tax, VAT, and Tax Planning
- Experience with Audit & Assurance, Internal Audit, and Risk Assessment
- Skills in Payroll Processing and Accounts Reconciliation
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling, Ratio Analysis, and Cash Flow Forecasting
- Knowledge of Treasury and Cash Management, including bank reconciliations and liquidity planning
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Tax Calc or a similar platform
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; additional certifications such as CPA, CA, or CMA are a plus
