Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Coimbatore. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing budgets, generating financial reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The role entails a focus on maintaining internal controls, managing audits, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and financial management skills, including accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Analytical skills and experience in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and audit preparation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification is a plus
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or merchandising industry
