Job Summary
We are hiring a Senior Accountant to manage financial operations across US, UK, Canada, and UAE entities. The role will oversee reporting, tax coordination, financial analysis, and ensure compliance with multi-country accounting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:-
Financial Management
- Manage general ledger and chart of accounts
- Oversee AP and AR operations
- Review journal entries
- Ensure monthly closing accuracy
- Manage financial controls
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly P&L statements
- Prepare balance sheet
- Cash flow forecasting
- Budget vs actual reporting
- Financial performance analysis
Tax & Compliance
- Handle tax preparation coordination for:
- US
- UK
- Canada
- UAE
- Manage VAT filings (UAE/UK)
- Track corporate tax obligations
- Coordinate with external accountants
- Ensure compliance deadlines
Strategic Finance
- Cost analysis
- Revenue tracking
- Margin analysis
- Department budgeting
- Financial forecasting
Payroll & Payments
- Oversee payroll reconciliation
- Review contractor payments
- Monitor international transfers
- Multi-currency accounting
Requirements
- 4–6 years accounting experience
- Finance/Accounts related degree
- Experience with US, UK, Canada, UAE accounting
- Strong knowledge of tax coordination
- Experience preparing P&L and financial reports
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with QuickBooks / Xero / similar
Preferred
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Remote company experience
- Startup / scaling company experience
- CPA / ACCA (preferred not required)
