Company Description Supervet Multispeciality Veterinary Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility in Nagarbhavi , Bengaluru, dedicated to compassionate and high-quality veterinary care. Role Description The Senior Accountant will oversee the hospital’s financial operations, ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing general ledger entries, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, reconciling accounts, tracking revenues and expenses, and supervising billing and collections. The role involves monitoring cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting management with financial analysis to inform strategic decisions. The Senior Accountant will also coordinate with external auditors, implement internal controls, and help optimize financial processes within the hospital environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, financial statement preparation, and knowledge of applicable accounting standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial planning and analysis, such as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and related tools, including spreadsheets, financial reporting systems, and basic ERP or practice management platforms.
- Candidates should possess skills in compliance and controls, including familiarity with taxation, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit coordination.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration abilities, enabling clear reporting to management and coordination with clinical, administrative, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
- Experience in healthcare, veterinary services, or small to medium-sized service organizations, and prior responsibility in a senior or lead accounting role is an advantage.
