Role Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and overseeing tax compliance. Key duties include maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, monitoring budgets, and providing insights for financial decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to financial regulations are also a part of the responsibilities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Accounting Practices
• Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and budgeting
• Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax preparation and compliance
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, including ERP systems
• Analytical thinking, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
• Experience in managing accounting for consumer goods or retail industries is an advantage
