Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks will include managing accounts, monitoring financial transactions, reconciling statements, preparing reports, and supporting audits, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Budget Preparation
- Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Auditing Practices, and Regulatory Requirements
- Advanced skills in Bookkeeping and Accounts Reconciliation
- Experience with Accounting Software, ERP systems, and Financial Analysis tools
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills
- Effective Communication and Team Collaboration abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or CA are highly preferred
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
