Role Description
The Senior Accountant role at Spacewise is a full-time on-site position based in Chennai. The selected candidate will oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include performing regular reconciliations, analyzing financial data, supporting audits, and providing financial advice to optimize company performance. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders to streamline and improve financial processes will also be a key part of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial data analysis and forecasting
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in architectural or design firms is an advantage
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and lead financial projects
