Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Bengaluru South. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and payroll procedures while ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing audit processes, reconciling accounts, and delivering analytical insights to support decision-making. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and provide mentorship to junior staff members.
Qualifications
Position: Senior Accountant – GL Governance & M&A
Experience: 6+ Years
Location: Bangalore
Function: Finance & Accounting
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage BlackLine account reconciliations and governance activities
• Handle General Ledger (GL) reconciliations and month-end close processes
• Ensure SOX compliance and support internal controls
• Support M&A accounting activities and entity integrations
• Work with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
Key Skills Required:
• General Ledger (GL) Accounting
• Account Reconciliation & Month-End Close
• BlackLine Tool Experience
• SOX Compliance & US GAAP Knowledge
• M&A Accounting Exposure
• SAP / Oracle ERP
