We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Kolkata. If you have strong expertise in accounting, taxation, GST compliance, and financial reporting, we would love to connect with you.

Position: Senior Accountant

Salary: Up to ₹45,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Handle journal entries, ledger posting & reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements
- Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI & statutory compliances
- GST Return Filing – GSTR 1, 2B, 3B, etc.
- Ensure timely closure of books of accounts
- Maintain fixed asset register & depreciation schedules
- Coordinate internal & external audits
- Prepare budgets & financial reports
- Supervise junior accounting staff
- Work on accounting software / ERP systems
- Handle minimum 100 accounting entries per day
Requirements:
- B.Com / M.Com in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
- Minimum 8 years of accounting experience
- At least 2 years in a senior-level accounting role
- Candidate must have Manufacturing Industry or CA Firm background
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS & financial compliance
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP / Oracle or similar accounting software
- Good analytical & communication skills
- Local Kolkata candidates preferred
