Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Kochi. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, budget preparation, and financial reporting. The role will also involve preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations, and providing support for audits. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will contribute to strategic financial planning and analysis.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, auditing processes, and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is an advantage
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage workloads and collaborate effectively with teams
