Role Description
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting, including month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, taxation support, compliance, and reviewing AP/AR processes. You will work closely with international clients, mentor junior team members, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA/CMA is an advantage).
* 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably with US and/or Australian clients.
* Strong knowledge of General Ledger, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and taxation.
* Experience with accounting software/ERPs and advanced Microsoft Excel.
* Solid understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
* Proven experience in team leadership, people management, training, and mentoring junior staff.
* Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Quick learner with a proactive attitude, strong ownership, and eagerness to continuously learn and improve.
* Experience in outsourced accounting or shared services is highly preferred.
