Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant who possesses strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounting, statutory compliances, and taxation. The candidate must have practical exposure to Tally software and in-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, ROC compliances, PF, and ESIC procedures from deduction to filing.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
· Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
· Ensure tally is updated on regular basis.
· Handle complete GST compliance including calculation, reconciliation, and timely filing of returns.
· Manage TDS compliances from deduction to deposit and filing of TDS returns.
· Ensure compliance with ROC requirements including preparation and filing of necessary documents and forms.
· Manage statutory compliances related to Provident Fund (PF) and ESIC from deduction to return filing.
· Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliation on a regular basis.
· Assist in internal and statutory audits by preparing required documents and reports.
· Analyze large volumes of financial data and generate reports to support business decision-making.
· Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Tally.
· In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, ROC compliances, PF, and ESIC procedures.
· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Data Analysis).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of banking systems and processes.
· Experience in assisting with Bank Audit and Concurrent Audit will be an added advantage.
· Experience in handling large data sets and financial analysis.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com / CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
