Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The role requires strong expertise in Tally ERP for managing accounts, taxation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities using Tally ERP (Tally Prime)
Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Monitor cash flow and financial transactions
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime)
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, reports, reconciliation)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and team coordination skills
