Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Kota, Rajasthan. The Senior Accountant will oversee daily financial transactions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting in budget planning and financial analysis. The Senior Accountant will also support the audit process and work closely with other departments to improve financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end accounting for flight, hotel, and tour package bookings
• Handle invoicing, billing, and payment collections from clients
• Manage vendor payments, reconciliations, and account settlements
• Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
• Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and assist in audits
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations) for financial data
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
- Experience with tax preparation, auditing, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and financial systems
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for financial planning and decision-making support
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage strict deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA qualification preferred)
Work experience in the transportation/logistics sector is an advantage

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in travel industry accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Busy, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of GST, invoicing, and reconciliation processes
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
• Experience with travel portals (TBO, Amadeus, etc.) accounting
• Knowledge of vendor settlement cycles in travel business
