Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Vadodara, Gujarat. The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage daily accounting tasks, including financial statement preparation, ledger entries, account reconciliation, tax filings, and budget management. The role also involves monitoring financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies, and assisting in financial audits. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the financial operations of the company.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting skills, including experience with general ledger entries, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation of accounts
- Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting
- Proficiency in tax regulations, compliance, and filing processes
- Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems
- Attention to detail and analytical skills for error checking and financial analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA or equivalent qualification preferred)
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams
- Knowledge of Indian and international accounting standards is beneficial
