Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Mumbai. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, conduct month-end and year-end closings, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will also perform account reconciliations, analyze financial statements, prepare budgets, and provide financial insights to support decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in improving financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Financial Reporting, Account Reconciliation, and Budgeting
- Expert knowledge of Tax Compliance, GAAP and Financial Analysis
- Proficiency in Accounting Software (e.g., Netsuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero) and ERP systems
- Ability to ensure adherence to industry-specific accounting standards and regulatory guidelines
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- CA certification preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- Experience in managing financial operations within a relevant industry is a plus
