Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Noida. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely financial recording. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role will prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support budgeting and forecasting, assist with audits, and recommend process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting to support business decision-making.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit processes, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in a similar senior accounting role, ideally within a project-based or EPC-focused organization.
