Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Finance Professional to manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and stakeholder coordination for group entities and promoters. The role requires strong expertise in Tally, GST, TDS, and advanced Excel, along with the ability to handle multiple financial functions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts in Tally as per GAAP for group entities and promoters
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of financial transactions, vouchers, and official records
- Verify and process employee reimbursements and claims
- Monitor and reconcile imprest accounts
- Manage accounts payable, including tracking, verification, and processing of creditor claims
- Build and maintain strong vendor/creditor relationships, including cost reviews and negotiations
- Handle import/export documentation and related financial transactions (software & goods)
- Manage banking transactions, correspondence, and relationships
- Oversee investments, including demat accounts and mutual funds
- Ensure compliance with multi-state GST (record keeping, return filing, reconciliation, and corrections)
- Handle TDS verification, finalisation, and filing
- Support statutory audits and prepare financial statements
- Manage annual ITR filings, RoC/MCA compliances, and company secretarial records
- Handle admin, legal, and municipal matters related to finance
- Prepare and analyze Financial MIS, ratio analysis, and financial health reports
- Monitor debtor positions and take necessary actions for recovery
- Set up and improve accounting systems, financial controls, and processes
- Implement systems to prevent financial loss, fraud, and discrepancies
- Oversee billing and receivables management
Desired Profile
- B.Com / M.Com with 7–12 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Strong expertise in Tally ERP 9 (Gold version preferred)
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Filters, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle and resolve financial matters independently
- Highly disciplined with strong attention to detail and work hygiene
