Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Chennai. The Senior Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and managing payroll. They will oversee budgeting and forecasting, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and conduct regular reconciliations. The role demands proactive financial analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration with leadership for financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting Principles, Financial Statements, and Auditing
- Experience with Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
- Knowledge of Taxation, Compliance, and Regulatory Requirements
- Competency in Accounting Software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally
- Strong Excel Skills and the ability to work with spreadsheets
- Exceptional Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional Certifications such as CA, CPA, or CMA are an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
