🌟 We're Hiring: Senior Accountant! 🌟
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the monthly close process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and play a key role in maintaining compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and internal policies. Your primary responsibility will involve working with our Swedish, Finnish, Danish, and Norwegian entities.

What You'll Do:
🎯 Responsibilities
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
- · Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS
- · Analyse variances in financial results and provide clear explanations to management
- · Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- · Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- · Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
- · Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations
- · Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- · Support preparation of statutory reporting when relevant
What We're Looking For:
✅
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- · CPA designation or active CPA candidacy or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- · 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- · Strong knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis
· Familiarity with statutory compliance and internal controls
