Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This position is responsible for managing the hospital’s financial accounting, including general ledger entries, monthly and annual closing, and preparation of financial statements. The role includes overseeing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll coordination, and ensuring accurate recording of revenue and expenses. The Senior Accountant will monitor budgeting and forecasting, support audits, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and healthcare financial guidelines. Day-to-day tasks also involve improving internal controls, preparing financial reports for management, and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to support sound financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis for decision support.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination.
- Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit support, preferably in healthcare or hospital settings.
- Ability to use accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and strong data accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, including at least one senior or lead accounting role.
