We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be located in or around Goregaon, Mumbai, and be available to work from the office daily.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts in Tally ERP.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliations and error-free accounting entries.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
GST Compliance
- Manage GST registration, filing of monthly/quarterly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), and reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations, including resolving discrepancies in ITC claims.
TDS Compliance
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and timely filing of TDS returns.
- Issue TDS certificates and manage related reconciliations.
Audit Support
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring proper documentation and timely submission of data.
- Assist in statutory, tax, and GST audits.
MIS Reporting
- Generate and present periodic financial reports and MIS dashboards to management.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and optimisation. Skills and Qualifications:
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter/ICWA preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficient in Tally ERP and advanced MS Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.
Preferred Traits
- Experience working in a corporate environment.
- Exposure to ERP systems beyond Tally is a plus.
- High level of integrity and commitment to compliance.
