Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Key responsibilities will include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting and forecasting, auditing financial documents, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial efficiency. The individual will also assist in developing and implementing financial procedures to support business goals.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
- Strong skills in Auditing, Taxation, and Compliance
- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software
- Analytical thinking and ability to interpret financial data
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA or CA are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting or financial management experience
- Knowledge of the food and beverage industry is advantageous but not mandatory
