Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at the Blue Cross Society of Pune, located in the Keshav Nagar, Mundhwa, Pune. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting functions, including but not limited to preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and contributing to internal financial reporting. The candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and MS Excel
- Experience with Tax Compliance and Auditing
- Accounting in Tally, Preparation of Receipts, Liaison with C.A., calculation and disbursal of monthly salaries, maintaining cash
- Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Attention-to-Detail skills
- Effective Communication and Team Leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA qualification is a plus)
- Experience in the non-profit sector or animal welfare organizations is an advantage
