Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in the Pune Division. Responsibilities include managing the general ledger, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The Senior Accountant will develop budgets, analyze financial data, support audits, and provide financial insights to guide decision-making. The role also involves overseeing vendor payments, payroll processing, and tax filings while maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting tasks, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation
- Strong skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting
- Knowledge of tax compliance, audit processes, and regulatory standards
- Experience with accounting software and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably at a senior level
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
